Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Linda (to be known on this blog as SweetLin) and I proclaim myself to be a foodie. Which doesn't always mean that much these days, I guess it's the not-so-new thing to be into with all the celebrity chefs and cooking shows around. Now I don't want to make out that I'm in any way superior to anyone else in this respect, I just really like eating good food, cooking good food and reading about food and other peoples food experiences and ideas. So, the beginning of a blog on exactly this topic!

I live in Canberra, so will aim to start off with some Canberra-related posts (although am going to Melbourne next week, so that will be hard to resist posting on!).

I also love cats, so there may be some random cat posts here and there. Just to go completely off the original topic!
